If you try to sell textbooks back to the store in which you purchased them, you will often come away disappointed by a refusal. Used textbooks are in high demand, largely because of the high cost of buying brand new books. Therefore, there is a good market for them. To sell textbooks online there are only three simple steps. First, you enter the 10-digit ISBN numbers for each book you are interested in selling. At once, you will receive a reply letting you know which books are acceptable and which books are not. Also, when you sell textbooks, it is your responsibility to be upfront about the condition of the books you are selling. They want very well taken care of books. If they smell of cigarette smoke, have blown out covers, or are written all over, they will not be accepted. Neither will they be returned unless you are ready to pay postage for them. Within five days of your agreement to sell textbooks, you must ship them to the buyer. The buyer picks up the postage tab on receipt of the books.
